Though I enjoy every day in every month, the arrival of my beauty boxes are very much a highly anticipated moment of each month. A few days ago I received my June box from Vegan Cuts Beauty Box. If you aren’t familiar with Vegan Cuts they offer both snack and beauty boxes. For $19.99 a month, a beauty box contains 4-7 vegan, palm-oil free and cruelty-free products ranging from sample to full sized items.

Pacifica Natural Eye Pencil in Fringe: Waterproof and long-lasting eye pencil that glides on smooth to deliver color and moisture. This eyeliner impressed me with just a single swatch. It’s a rich, buttery and smooth liner that glides on really well. The eyeliner has great benefits from the jojoba oil, shea butter, and vitamins E & C. ($11.00)
NYL Velvet Transformative Serum: Nourishing facial serum made with a blend of plant oils boasting anti-aging and anti-inflammatory properties. I’ve only had the chance to use this product in my skincare regime a hand-full of times. It is made with a great blend of oils and is extremely hydrating. I’m interested to see how it works for me in the long run. Note- This product was hand-picked by Jill, the co-founder of Vegan Cuts ($13.75)
LA Fresh Nail Polish Remover Acetone-Free: Acetone-free and 100% biodegradable nail polish remover pads with a pleasant aroma. I was getting ready for a birthday party and realized I ran out of my nail polish remover, talk about perfect timing. I definitely think it did it’s job and is great in a pinch but I don’t think I would repurchase it. I had three coats of red polish on my nails and it didn’t remove everything. You would most likely have to use two packets if you were to remover more heavy-duty polishes. ($.50)
Lip Glosserie in Light Asian Pear Lip Balm: Moisturizing lip balm in a yummy Asian Pear flavor with just a hint of shine. This is a sweet pear scented lip balm that is light, long lasting and moisturizing while giving a slight shine on the lips. Personally, I prefer a balm texture versus a light oily one like this.($3.50)
Grasse Roots Perfumery in Geisha: A perfume oil made with plant-based botanicals. The Geisha perfume has a blend of jasmine, ylang ylang, neroli and rose. It has a very earthy and spicy sent. ($5.00)
Three out of five of the items were full sized and the total value of the box is $43.75, not too bad for $19.99. Theres a nice range of products in this months box with a nail polish and nail polish remover, eyeliner, a face serum, lip balm and perfume.
